Endodontic Solutions: Strategies for Performing Endodontic Treatment Predictably, Profitably and Painlessly
Participation courses address breakthrough concepts and details the skills necessary for acquiring the expertise and confidence to perform the highest quality endodontics. As a participant in the program, you will become familiar with the use of the “apex last” approach to canal shaping with nickel-titanium instrumentation, using Adaptive Motion Technology, predictable irrigation protocols using Apical Negative Pressure, and vertical condensation of thermo-softened gutta percha using The Continuous Wave of vertical condensation. During this exciting fast-paced presentation, the attendee will experience Hands-on sessions throughout the day.
Course Objectives:
At the completion of this lecture and hands-on workshop, participants will understand:
• How to assess the criteria for a successful endodontic procedure
• How to accurately locate the apical constriction
• Shape the root canal space using nickel-titanium instrumentation. A NEW multi-setting motor utilizing Adaptive Motion Technology, will be introduced.
•Remove the Smear layer and Biofilm using state of the art irrigation protocols
•Obturate the root canal system in 3-D to capture the natural anatomy with the continuous wave of condensation

Course Description:
A recent survey showed that only 1 in 6 dentists treat non-vital cases in one appointment. Dr. Garry Bey teaches an evidence-based technique for performing root canals in one visit with greater success and more profit than a multi-visit procedure. The advantages of one appointment endodontics are many, including less post-operative pain, fewer emergency visits and greater patient satisfaction. This hands-on course is designed for both general dentists and endodontists who wish to provide successful single visit endodontic treatment for their patients, on both vital and non-vital cases. Endodontic diagnosis, quick and effective anesthesia, the creation of a glide path, and the management of curved and calcified canals will be outlined. Advanced nickel titanium rotary instrumentation techniques utilizing heat treated twisted files in a stress related adaptive motion will be demonstrated. EndoVac apical negative pressure irrigation will be discussed in detail, a key part of successful single visit treatment. Warm vertical compaction of gutta percha will conclude the course. A new cordless, power driven, obturation unit will be showcased. This exciting multi-media program covers solutions and suggestions on how to treat straightforward and complex endodontic cases in one visit, as a well as a hands-on workshop designed to enhance the clinicians’ practical skills.
Course Objectives:
At the completion of this lecture and hands-on workshop, participants will understand:
• The protocol for single-visit treatment for both vital and non-vital teeth
• The use and advantages of twisted nickel-titanium rotary files
• How to identify the advantages of using EndoVac apical negative pressure irrigation
•The objectives of obturation and the use of the ElementsFree obturation unit – Obturation without the frustration
•Game-changing solutions to improve endodontic skills.

Posterior Composites: A Rapid, Simplified Placement Technique
Posterior composite resin restorations have become mainstream. These restorations seal teeth, reinforce remaining tooth structure, allow conservative preparations and satisfy patient desires for natural appearance. However, dentists complain that Class II composite restorations are tedious, time consuming, somewhat complicated, and aren’t always predictable. In addition, clinicians can sometimes be confused by the vast choice of adhesives in the marketplace all claiming to be the best.
In this presentation, Dr. Jackson will show a greatly simplified and efficient procedure for placing posterior composite restorations based on new materials and technology. The predictable, standardized protocol will clearly show a significant reduction in both time and effort when placing these restorations. Additional topics covered include:
•Matricing – achieving proper contacts everytime
•Understanding Adhesives and Adhesion – a comprehensive update
•Total adaptation, total fill – in seconds
Following the lecture, participants will have the opportunity to place a Class II composite restoration using SoniFill™ (Kerr). Dentists will discover that this system delivers a fast, easy and efficient single fill aesthetic restoration with high density and adaptation.
Learning Objectives:
1To examine current matricing techniques that insure quality contacts
2 To understand Adhesion – making the right choice and doing it right
3To achieve time savings without compromise, using bulk fill composite technology
