Scotte Hudsmith
Scotte Hudsmith serves as Chairman and Chief Executive officer of US Endodontic Partners, LLC (US Endo). The first and largest Endodontic focused partnership in the United States. US Endo was formed in December of 2018 and currently supports 110 locations and 185 Endodontist in 27 states.
Hudsmith has more than 30 years of corporate leadership experience, including executive roles in finance, operations, business development and sales and marketing. He specializes in developing and implementing growth strategies in healthcare companies that are private equity backed and has extensive experience coordinating mergers and acquisitions.
Previously he was Chairman of Smile Doctors, LLC., and prior to moving to the Chairman role served as the Chief Executive Officer where he led the executive leadership team as the company expanded its unique orthodontics experience across the U.S. Smile Doctors has grown from two Austin-area locations to 300+ locations in over thirty states. He remains involved with Smile Doctors in a Chairman Emeritus role. Additionally, he serves in various Board and Advisory Board roles with Total Men’s Care, Oral Surgery Partners, Sheridan Capital Partners, Dental Monitoring and the Association of Dental Support Organizations.
Prior to joining Smile Doctors, he was CEO of Parental Health, a company he founded in 2009. In previous roles he was Executive Vice President of Finance and Business Development for Passport Health Communications, Inc. (now part of Experian Health), one of the largest healthcare technology companies in the U.S. Hudsmith led the company’s strategic growth efforts, more than doubling EBITDA, orchestrating a leveraged debt round and private equity recapitalization, and positioning the company for a highly successful exit.
Earlier in his career, Hudsmith served as President of LBMC Technologies in Brentwood, Tenn. and President and CEO of Syngistix, Inc., a Denver, Co.-based healthcare supply chain management software company. He has served in various executive roles with companies in healthcare, technology, and other industries and has also held several board appointments for public, private and nonprofit organizations.
Hudsmith attended Louisiana State University and then transferred to the University of Memphis (Tenn.) where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and MIS. He is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School. He serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the Association of Dental Support Organizations and was a member of Leadership Health Care, the Nashville Health Care Council and Financial Executives International, is a Narrowgate Champion. Hudsmith has been and continues to be actively involved in the communities where he has lived and worked, coaching youth soccer, leading youth church programs and other community support activities.
