Achieving profound anesthesia is now easier than ever with the newly enhanced IntraFlow Disposables. The IntraFlow Anesthesia Delivery System from Pro-Dex, Inc is described as the latest technology in pain management for the dental professional and a major breakthrough in fear management for the anxious dental patient. It is designed to deliver reliable, profound pulpal anesthesia in seconds.
Following treatment with IntraFlow, patients can resume normal activities, smile for post-operative assessments, eat, drink and talk normally — without having to wait for the anesthesia to “wear off”.
Patients report being appreciative of the comfortable nature of the injection and speed of the procedure. The IntraFlow System uses patented intraosseous injection technology that allows true, one-step operation to deliver anesthetic directly into the cancellous bone spaces. Pain relief and profound pulpal anesthesia are achieved in approximately one minute, saving valuable chair time and allowing practitioners to work in multiple quadrants during a single visit.IntraFlow is designed to be used as a primary or supplemental means of delivering anesthetic and is ideal for most general dental procedures, including endodontic therapy, oral surgery, cosmetic and restorative procedures, and implantology.
The Starter Kit includes everything required to get going with IntraFlow, including an autoclavable IntraFlow Handpiece, Head Attachment, Quick-Disconnect, 20 sterile disposable patient kits, and an interactive CD-Rom

There remains a growing belief among clinicians that obturation is to blame for endodontic failures. This notion has more recently fallen under scrutiny as researchers have discovered that the most thorough obturation can only reflect the quality of the cleaning and shaping of the canal. In fact, a number of researchers point to the thorough use of irrigants — making sure that the debris and irrigant itself are lifted completely out of the canal, not forced out the apex — as the most important determinant in the long-term success of an endodontic procedure.
