CUYAHOGA FALLS, OHIO – March 1, 2011 HyFlex® CM Rotary Files from Coltène /Whaledent, Inc. are “changing the DNA of NiTi files.” This endodontic file system is a unique breakthrough in NiTi rotary files with a “Controlled Memory” (CM) effect.
HyFlex®CM NiTi files are manufactured utilizing a unique process that controls the material’s memory, making the files extremely flexible, without the shape memory of other NiTi files. The process allows the instrument to follow the canal without creating undesired lateral forces on the canal walls, making the files extremely flexible with no rebound, while reducing the risk of file separation, binding and complications such as ledging, transportation and perforation.
This new technology yields an improvement of more than 300% in cyclical fatigue compared to standard NiTi files*, reducing the incidence of file separation – the endodontist’s “worst nightmare”.
A clinician is also able to achieve multiple uses from a HyFlex®CM file, because the shape of the files with straightened spirals can be restored during autoclaving and re-used.

RACINE, WI – Science has shown that irrigants are more effective when they are electro-mechanically activated. Acoustic streaming and cavitation of endodontic solutions has been shown to significantly enhance cleansing of difficult anatomy. Studies have shown that low frequency (Sonic) oscillation (160-190Hz) was not sufficient in creating acoustic streaming or cavitation within the canal space.
EndoUltra™ is the only cordless, compact, battery operated piezo ultrasonic (40kHz) activation device. Only EndoUltra™ is capable of producing acoustic streaming and cavitation in small canal spaces, resulting in significantly improved debridement, disruption of biofilm, improved penetration of irrigants into dentinal tubules, and the removal of vapor lock. Resulting in improved outcomes.
